Thermoluminescent Dosimetry

A choice of thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLD-dosimeters), models: TLD‑3, DTL‑02, DVNG‑M, DTU‑1, DTU‑2, Finger Ring Type G, Finger Ring Type BG, EYE‑D.

To be used together with DOZA‑TLD reader.

TLD dosimeters with DOZA‑TLD reader and DVG software form a thermoluminescent dosimetry monitoring system (TLD‑system).

Operating principle / measuring cycle:

1) TLD detectors (TLD chips) inside TLD dosimeter absorb energy of ionizing radiation proportional to dose of exposure. 2) When heated the TLD chips release absorbed energy in the form of emission of visible light. 3) Photomultiplier tube (PMT) located in TLD reader detects the emitted light and converts it into electrical signal. 4) Now the dose value is measured and TLD dosimeter is ready for a next measuring cycle.
